Estate Planning Intro Letter

ESTATE PLANNING FOR OUR LOVED ONES
One of the greatest gifts we can leave our loved ones is an organized estate.
While it may be unpleasant to think about, the time we spend now will help our
loved ones to cope later, and will also ensure that our wishes will be carried out
as we intended without any harmful family disputes.
If proper planning isn’t done before our passing, what may be left behind is a
distribution that is carried out far differently that what we had intended or desired.
Problems such as a lengthy, expensive probate administration (with costs
totaling 10% of the estate or more), loss of privacy, taxes, or infighting amongst
our heirs can all result from postponing our estate planning until it is too late.
At J.G. Keys, Jr., LLC, we understand that proper estate planning can be a
challenging process without the right tools and guidance. It can be especially
challenging if other factors are in play, such as a disabled or special needs child,
or children from another marriage, just to name a few.
Let’s set a time to meet with family, clients, or yourself, to discuss straightforward
explanations of significant estate planning options available, so that the right
decisions can be made based upon an clear and accurate understanding of the
process for the private transfer of family assets of a deceased loved one, without
any interference by a probate court.
I am available to meet with you, your family, or your clients at the home, office,
or any location that is convenient for the client. The meeting usually takes less
than an hour.
Please take a few moments and review the articles excerpted from my website to
help you prepare for our meeting. There is also a planning worksheet attached
to help you think about your desired options.
I look forward to meeting with you in the near future.
Thanks and Have a Blessed Day!
Jim Keys
